Posted April 2, 2021 Title says it all; I haven't had to worry about authentication in over six months because I only ever access my account on the same device. But I'm upgrading to a new computer that is arriving Monday, and only now realize that my authentication number is an old phone number that lapsed over six months ago.
I couldnt log in to the gane because connection failed (but playing ffxiv and wow just fine), cant log into gw2 account either because my password is wrong, and i cant reset my password as well because it ask for Game Serial Code and Char name which i did insert correctly but keep getting "Some fields are invalid"
Well, today it’s my turn. I think my credentials are fine because I get to the “you have auth turned on, wait for the email” screen but … no email.
Support can't help : (. So The email address associated with my account was compromised. I can't login to it, and multiple attempts with Microsoft to recover the email have been unsuccessful. I reached out to ANet support and told them all of this, and they ignored crucial information regarding the email linked to my game client login being
